The wind abated about midday, so I took the F-11 Tiger out for a couple of hand chucks (or test glides). I wondered if it would be as tricky to trim out as its smaller semi-profile stablemate. Ruth took some photos and a video:
Well, this was a pleasant surprise! The 'Tiger' proved to be something of a pussy cat. No nose weight was needed, and with a bit of up elevator and right rudder (the need for which will be corrected later with a simple trim tab), the model glided straight and true. For quite a distance.
This was encouraging, and I will now carry on with painting the 'Shark Teeth' on the nose and prepare the decals. So it's back to the 'building thread'!
