JETEX, JET-X, and RAPIER MOTOR MANUFACTURERS and RETAIL SOURCES eBay - various vintage Jetex motors, modeling kits and accessories The vast majority of email correspondence that arrives at Jetex.org asks the question "Where can I get an original Jetex motor just like the one I had when I was a kid?". We are not currently engaged in selling vintage motors here so we recommend the places where just about everything else like this is currently sold the large online auction houses. The original British Jetex motors, made from 1948 to 1972 by Wilmot Mansour and Sebel, are actively traded on eBay. Private collectors and model airplane enthusiasts from around the world are buying and selling everything from one-of-a-kind vintage rarities to the more recently made and affordable (and, ultimately, more utilitarian) Jetex items. The ubiquitous search keyword "jetex" will get you directed to the correct starting place. Happy hunting! |

Davis Diesel Development Bob Davis has a large amount of Jetex hardware including fuse, gaskets, mounts, kits and miscellaneous items such as an original built Jeticopter. Also available are a number of Jetex-type motors which Davis Models manufactured to their own motor design in the late 1990s. Dr Jan Zigmund - Rapier Motors This Czech language site belongs to the inventor and manufacturer of the Rapier single use motors, Dr Jan Zigmund. The small cardboard tube motors that he makes have become very popular in the last few years because of their consistent performance, reliability, and ease of use. Many view them as a logical modern-day successor to the traditional reloadable Jetex style motors. Most modelers source their Rapiers from the U.K. and U.S. based retailers mentioned below. For now, we have included only those that maintain a website. |

Michael Woodhouse's Free Flight Supplies - Jet-X and Rapier, plus kits Another U.K. based source for Jet-X as well as the Czech made Rapier single use motors.
